KINGS OF ARMENIA. Artaxias I, 190-160 BC. Hemichalkon (?) (Copper, 10 mm, 1.18 g, 2 h), first series, with Aramaic legends. Head of Artaxias I to right, bearded and wearing five-pointed tiara tied with a diadem. Rev. 𐡓𐡕𐡇𐡔𐡎𐡉Ϟ - Ϟ𐡌𐡋𐡁 ('rthṣsy mlk' in Aramaic) Dog standing right. Kovacs 44. Very rare. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
